"We're working directly with Sun City Girls to arrange our start times so fans can catch both shows on Sat. We've also contacted Fushitsusha, but have not gotten any response yet."

BTW Fushitsusha is doing 2 shows at Tonic. So you could go to the 8pm, Hit the Knit for 10 and then over to Southpaw-

Last night I dreamt it's the night of 11/16. I'm hightialing it out of the Knitting Factory as the last hum from The Sun City Girls dies down. I jump into the first cab and say "Get me over to South Paw-ASAP!!" and hand the driver a $50.Traffic is at a standstill. A series of bright lights illuminate the sky. A Giant Orb Lands right in the Middle of Church Street. One side opens and out comes a prosessions of dancers and musicians with exotic instruments dressed in brightly colored costumes. At the end of the parade is a giant canopy carrying Sun Ra and Fela- They've come back.

I suddenly awake in a cold sweat.anything is possible....

Shutupshutupshutup not that im jealous

I missed Arab On Radar in London because I thought I could get to 5 gigs in one night. I watched them pack up though.

Tell us more about these shows, anyway. Is cycling an option?

BTW Fushitsusha is doing 2 shows at Tonic.

What? WHAT?

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Sunday, 6 October 2002 16:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Tonic's a lousy place for a show, though. It's practically all cement, IIRC. And there's no mention of such a show on Tonic's site. But I'm so there, dude.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Sunday, 6 October 2002 16:37 (twenty-three years ago)

B-but Tonic is the *best* place for a show! Very intimate and lack of backstage make for forced contact with the musicians...

Mary (Mary), Sunday, 6 October 2002 18:30 (twenty-three years ago)

also they have eaty sandwiches for a nominal fee

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Sunday, 6 October 2002 21:57 (twenty-three years ago)

As opposed to non-eaty?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 6 October 2002 22:37 (twenty-three years ago)
