well this album is fucking great, and unexpectedly so given the decade-plus time off and multiple false starts. this bangs HARD

Listening to this and now and the drop-off in quality between the first two tracks and the three that follow it is quite spectacular. Dawn's appearance is awful, but they went for the wrong DDM girl here because if ever there was a perfect environment for a Kalenna guest appearance it's this record.
Things pick up immediately after the Dawn track.

Hmmm this is one album that really could use an extra five or six tracks at least because once you get through the obviously focus-grouped shit (WHY is the dude from Cobra Starship on here?) you're only left with an EP's worth of decent material.

lol gabe saporta

i for one am glad the dude from midtown is now featuring on an eve album
― emo canon in twee major (BradNelson), Tuesday, 14 May 2013 18:46 (twelve years ago)
ehhhh who cares about that track it's all about the amazing rat-a-tat of "grind or die" and the insane beat on "zero below"
i really like the dawn collab, "make it out this town" is the only one that smells of chart pandering - i like the album's brevity, there's something very terse and concise about it that really suits eve. she gets in does her thing gets out. it's very focused imo

That first track is one of the better uses I've heard for brostep wobbles.
Dunno what you're hearing in the Dawn track really, it feels like a hamfisted attempt at a Minaj style mainstream house banger and the two elements feel kinda cut-and-shunted.

I haven't heard this yet but:
