i like the fact that 'the not knowing' (the woodwind-y one at the end of the 1st album) sounds like miss marple.

I love the 1st 2 albums. Does anyone else agree that bands nearly always do their best work on the first couple of albums. Exceptions are few and far between...although 69 love songs and The visitors (abba) spring to mind

My friend said the exact same thing at the Tindersticks show. The only exception we could come up with was Neutral Milk Hotel. Search ITAOTS and destroy On Avery Island.
