Is Bob Clearmountain in need of appreciation?

I keep getting reminded as of late how many wonderful things his name is attached to.

I finally acquired a physical copy of Morrissey's Beethoven Was Deaf live album and was a little jolted to see Bob's credit. His name seems to pop up in the most random places sometimes.

Well, I prefer his mix of Free's 'All Right Now' to the original mix.

I definitely prefer his mix of the Blue Nile's 'Headlights on the Parade' (can't find it on YouTube though).

I thought his name was a pseudonym. It's the perfect description of what his mixes sound like.

There's some good ideas in his 'How Beautiful You Are' mix, but just as many elements I'm not as fond of. I do prefer the original, myself.

Yes, that album has a wonderful production. Especially (as has been noted many times by others) the bass. I guess he is a bass player himself.
