Another one of my shirts from the late 80s that I still wear.

I wish I could find a photo of the Buffalo Tom shirt I used to wear all the time. I didn't have any strong feelings for BT one way or the other, but it was a dark blue shirt with a small orange cross (like the Red Cross, not the Xtian cross) on the front and "Let Me Come Over" on the back.

I had this Thrice shirt that I bought back in 2002. I don't even remember what the design was, but it was dark, dark, dark yellow, green, and gray ink on a black shirt. So dark that you didn't even see the design unless you were in the right light. After about two years, the colors had faded completely and I was just left with a black shirt. Kinda a bummer, but it was cool while it lasted.

I loved this shirt when I was 13, and was really upset when I "lost" it, although in retrospect it seems obvious that my mom secretly threw it away:

Flipper Madonna & fish - had me wondering if it was a good idea when I was hearing about laws being introduced here against blasphemous tshirts & I think this might well count as one. Wore it quite a bit around the solidarity camp and had locals with religious beliefs commenting on my wearing a shirt with the Madonna on which had me self-conscious & glad they hadn't seen what was actually on the shirt.

At one point i decided to photograph all the band shirts instill have in my possession. I started adding them to a tumblr but lost interest so that fell by the wayside.

Whoa! That's awesome. To be fair, I was completely disappointed by their musical output beyond the album that they were touring behind when I bought that shirt, but I lived that album/shirt for a couple years.

My most heartbreaking loss is my Dead Milkmen t-shirt that I left in the pool locker room at life guarding class in high school. Sometimes I think about how beautifully destroyed that shirt would be now and mourn.

this has a giant hole under one arm so I cut the sleeves off the other day having not worn it for years. I looked metal as heck but was also constantly aware of my dislike for my own upper arms

Don't sweat it. Everybody is too distracted by your awesome shirt and how metal as heck you are to care about your arms.

I have a Keiji Haino shirt which is a black image of Haino silkscreened onto a black shirt. After about 5 years, the shirt faded a little, and you could actually see the image.

Bought this at Lollapalooza '94, a strange time when the Boredoms played the main stage and the Lips played the second stage. The Boredoms joined the Lips during their set, which was a lot of fun. The design on this shirt was printed on real thick and heavy and felt like wearing a sandwich board.

I had the SY astronauts shirt until I wrecked it with pit-stains. I had a few of those Pavement shirts, too. I had one that I can't find an image of that said "Pavement Power" with Pavement written like the Peavey logo. They had the coolest, most cryptic shirts.

Have the left hand Sebadoh one, haven't seen it in years, but it's around somewhere. Have the Boredoms one in baby blue.

Don't have the FLips T-shirt above, but have one from around that time featuring a close up of a butterfly &, yeah, unbelievably thick print on it & the sandwich board description is spot on. You'd wear it on a normal day & have sweat under where the print was, but nowhere else.
