This is what I like about mainstream country...it doesn't have a lot of patience for abstract issues. This is as real as music gets. Well, it's right up there anyway. The song is called "Red Rag Top," and it's about a young couple who decide to terminate the girl's pregnancy. Some country stations are refusing to play it/saying they're getting too many complaint calls, but it is on the airplay charts. I read about all this earlier this morning but can't find my articles now. The gist of the lyrics is that they decided not to have a baby and there's no room for regret if you're going to carry on with your life. I'll keep looking for a link.

Oh and by the way Tim McGraw is Faith Hill's husband and she is reeeallly christian, if that makes things more interesting.
