Daughn Gibson - C or D?

Weird there hasn't been a thread on this dude yet. Got pretty obsessed with his last one, All Hell, and while the new one, Me Moan lacks some of the qualities that made the debut so special, it's also a very fine record. Shall I assume ILX silence in this case = indifference?

First album was compellingly strange. Haven't heard the new one yet.

New one is interesting but the most compelling thing I can think of to say about it is that everyone calling this dude a baritone is wrong; his voice is lower than that.

I like "Franco" a lot.

Just now hearing him via his newest album and I can't really decide how I feel just yet. His voice reminds me of when people used to try to imitate the Crash Test Dummies vocalist and sing other songs. I don't know much about this guy, but when his voice gets twangy it feels really affected.
