Feel bad voting for Chief Keef when I've never really listened to him, but there's so much good RHCP out there, it's hard to imagine just hating them down the line.

I've never heard a whole Vampire Weekend song, so can't really hate them; I really liked the Red Hot Chili Peppers between 1986-90; while I couldn't give a shit about the music of Oasis, they get a million points for a career's worth of mind-roastingly awesome interview quotes; and Brad Paisley has a lot of great songs. ILM (like much of the world) just picked up on the shittiest one and ran with it.

How is Brad Paisley even the "most hated" country artist? That's just bizarre. (Nobody hated him at all until a couple months ago, whereas people have hated Toby Keith and the Dixie Chicks for years now -- And not even the same people!)

i get that the cutesy indie aesthetic can be sickening when it shows up in certain contexts, almost the way thomas kinkaide's brand of sentimentalism for a different audience can be sickening. vampire weekend is not one of those contexts.

I hate the idea that a kid like Chief Keef is hated. Finally Rich is one of them unifying albums in my house. My 11 year old son loves it and my wife loves it. To put him on the same level as Brad Paisley is a sin. Even though I don't have a clue who BP is.
