Can't find much discussion about this excellent record and it's too good to be buried away on the bobbins thread.
I understand she was given a 303 last year and knocked this album out with it, then handed it to Kassem Mosse to mix and re-arrange, and the results are fantastic. It feels Detroity and retro in its sound palette but totally modern in what it does with them. Also, there's a gorgeous melodic sensibility running through most of these tracks, even when she makes you work for it.

Need to listen to this when I'm not tired and irritable cos it just gave me a headache the last time I tried. Will say that for all the talk of this being a radical new direction for her, it's still very much had the feel of a Stellar Om Source record in terms of the the way the songs work, really fluid and amorphous sounding.
