"War Pigs" vs "Locomotive Breath"

It just occurred to me that these two songs bear some resemblance, so naturally I had to poll them.

And the all-time winner
Has got him by the balls!

Sabbath riffs > Tull riffs
Tull flute solos > Sabbath guitar solos

I can hum the riffs to "Paranoid" and "Iron Man," honestly can't conjure up "War Pigs." Most of you will probably tell me I just don't listen to enough Sabbath. Riff to "Locomotive Breath" rules!

I agree that Locomotive Breath is one of the (if not THE) best Tull riffs, especially paired with that w00m-w00m-w00m bassline.

confessing to the endless sin! funny as it sounds the call and response between the flute and the choir in "my god" is one of the scariest things i've ever heard

"locomotive breath" isn't close to one of the best songs on aqualung

Aqualung is a really solid album imo.

Like, if you like the singles, I see no reason why you wouldn't like the whole album.

Yeah, I was gonna queue it up tonight and give it my undivided attention.

It's awesome, probably better than songs from the wood but I have blind childhood love for sftw so that'll always be my favorite
