Traces of Pink Floyd in 21st Century music

A thread for discussing artists or songs that seem influenced by Pink Floyd. Limited to songs released 2001 onwards and no samples, covers or mashups... or maybe post them, whatever... if they're worth mentioning bring them in.

I'll start with two examples:

White Denim - Street Joy
PF could sue for this one. The instrumental interlude 1:30 onwards sounds lifted straight from Breathe and the whole mood of the song is like a slacker version of DSOTM. Still love it.

Darkside - A1
Always noted some PF traces in Nicolas Jaar music and his Darkside project (which may or may not be a pf reference) is the one with the most direct influence. The guitars and creepy ambience make it sound like a remix from The Wall / Animals era.

I can see this thread as one of those half-drunk ideas I had that I originally thought were awesome and interesting and ILM would contribute loads of examples in the same vein but the next morning I realize I was just drunk and obsessive and nobody cares about it,

There's a track on the new Ihsahn (former frontman of black metal band Emperor) album Das Seelenbrechen, "M," that sounds very influenced by late '80s (post-Waters) Pink Floyd - not just the guitar solo, which is super-Gilmourish, but the way the background singers sound behind the guitar. If it was on Spotify or something, I'd link it.

"deeper into movies" is new order "ceremony" (bass line, scratchy guitar) mashed up with "comfortably numb" (pre-chorus vocal melody).

the lyrics are pretty wild (although the ones listed on thousands of lyrics sites are pretty far off).

i figure the title is a nod to Pauline Kael, does anyone know what movie the lyrics are referring to? some late 60s odd loner sci-fi telekinesis flick (like isn't El Topo in her book)?

It's not on YouTube, but search for the song "Head Above" by Canyon from the album Empty Rooms--it's kind of an alt-country "Careful With That Axe, Eugene," all slow-build, washes of organ, hints of Gilmour in the guitar, and the patented Nick Mason measured "ting...ting...ting...ting" thing on the cymbal.

No blood-curdling screams, though.
