FACE OFF: who was the better soprano?

Who was the better soprano, the Slovakian Edita Gruberová or the Australian Joan Sutherland? I read a comment saying that Sutherland was the greatest opera singer of all time, while Gruberová was not even in the Top 100. I personally found this hard to stomach. Both are clearly exception, but who is better?

older G loses some accuracy but gains a lot in terms of roundness in tone and conveying the sense that she knows what she's singing about

The tone is rounder, but also beat up, and still pretty screechy -- on the above Queen of the Night bit, she's screechy everywhere but in the highest coloratura bits, which she nails. That's a neat trick, but not for me.
