his beats are more like.... better than most rap, remind me of Hanzo (Soulja Slim Years Later) in their "quality". I'll link a couple Youtubes next post.
I don't know really what to say about him, except there were no posts on him here.. I just think it's the best quality beats in commercial hardcore rap.
Maybe I could gather some kind of history, too.

This was all around the NYC type Bobby Fischer hype (eg countercultural cool guy cocaine stuff, back when punchline rap really was fun, possible construed countering "pseudo-religious" "nice-guy/stern/parable" crap that's way more Jay-Z's style). There was a book written about the "gang war" that lead up to 50 cents shooting. Had to do with Jam Master Jay.
The G-Unit Radio tapes were severely fun. With Whoo Kid and whoever shouts "GOD DAMN!!!!!!!!!" when someone says something totally fkng awesome.
I caught the butt end of a lot of this drugs and shit, doing blow off a coo coo cal album around when jeezy came out. lol. psych ward material.
I really take this music seriously. Jimmy Iovine and Paul Rosenberg, Interscope, etc. In like a totally mind-control sensibility. (call me a fake nutter or w/e)
Anyway Bobby Fischer was in jail in Japan back in 2003, doing radio interviews and crap. I remember when 50 cent came out: the music was so so cool sounding, it felt mind-blowing. I truly and utterly distained the religious style rap, with a fervency that I hated Nas' lame beats and lyrics with. I appreciate all music now, but I really wish music would be fun like that again.

I remember prior to 50 getting signed I used to go to this site that posted all his mix tape tracks and dis tracks as RealAudio files (lol)...I used to listen to them at work a lot. There was also a page that did Jay stuff particularly his tracks back and forth with Jaz O when they were beefing
