French hip-hop/housey fella, not bad new album called Soulshine out now featuring DJ Premier and, uh, Cameo's captain codpiece, Larry Blackmon!

Thoughts? Interviewing him (ie. Cam, not Larry) tonight and don't really know as much as I prolly ought to...

search at least half of the beat assassinated, which is better than dj shadow because it doesn't have all that fucking baggage. (and contains the immortal refrain: "i love hiphop like madonna loves dick.") the speed garage and jungle numbers a bit a baffling though.

definite classic in the downtempo, acid jazz, etc genres.

the dj kicks was a solid mix (of course, not really of his material)... mad blunted jazz is really good... the double 10" that contains "return of the jedi" is the best and baddest.
