Match the Movie Director with the Band/Performer?

While listening to Joni Mitchell's Hissing of Summer Lawns, I was imagining the visuals in my mind as shot by Scorsese, but who would do Court & Spark, Altman? Blue, Cassavettes or maybe Chantal Akerman?
I'd be interested to know what directors come to mind with you all for their favorite "runs" of a great band. pick a band/performer's five album run and assign a different director (working at generally the same moment in time) to make movies of.
(Thanks!)

This would be the tough part for me. I'd pair up the Necks and Ozu in an instant.

slightly different premise than this thread, i guess:

Let's match the filmmaker with the band.

Um I suck at this sort of thing but here it goes

Dragnet = Jodorowsky
Grotesque = Korine (up til Spring Breakers)
Slates = LaBute
Hex = Fassbinder
Room to Live = ...maybe Herzog?
Perverted = Tolkin???

actually Dragnet's probably more like Larry Cohen, isn't it?
