S/D (C/D?): British pop/rock musicals of the 50's/60's

The thread title seems oddly specific, but I found out that around the 1960's there were a lot of British movies centered around popular music - music review shows featuring pop groups or movies with a forgettable plot that serve as a promotion of popular music acts. Beatlemania fueled this fire, and thus even more pop musicals were made. And I find it interesting to watch these 60's pop musicals, the has-beens and never-gonna-be-anymores, in a "popular culture historian" kinda way.

So! S/D? I'd like to recommend Live It Up!, a movie featuring Meek acts like Heinz, The Outlaws etc. Compulsory watching if you're a Meek geek. There's a sequel called Be My Guest that I haven't watched yet. Also I watched a movie called Pop Gear, which is a revue featuring several bands that were popular at that time (Honeycombs, Herman's Hermits, Animals and lots of minor-league acts). Kind of lame. Also hosted by Jimmy Saville. Ew.

You're looking for only musicals that feature real acts? Because, I mean, Privilege is quite clearly the best British pop/rock musical of the '60s. But I'm pretty sure it's not what you want.

All Night Long (1962) is a good movie set in a jazz club, kinda a version of Othello. It has Patrick McGoohan as the moody drummer, plus a few classic UK stalwards like Carol White and Dickie Attenborough. Dave Brubeck, Johnny Dankworth, Mingus and others play a few numbers.
