On spotify the Virgin Sampler "Losing our virginity" there's a version of Silent Night by Can. But it's not them at all, its a different version which has a different tune to the familiar, and it sounds more like Kate Bush.

When I played it using Spotify on the laptop, it showed a different LP sleeve.
anyway, it's "Christmas is Thanksgiving" by far-flung tin can.

It was quite nice, actually. I had a bit of a look-up, they're christian missionaries or something, which is a bit disappointing but then again..
