Anyway: let's get this thing kicked off proper-like. No points, no rankings, no bullshit - just like the intensely shredding noise of Sightings.
Pick your favorite 8 Sightings songs, put 'em in an email, and shoot that email my way by midnight EST US on Friday, February 28th at elisionbebop AT gmail etc etc. please, please, PLEASE put "SIGHTINGS TRACKS BALLOT" in the subject line, and feel free to post "voted" here when you do.
For fun - and because I'm interested in knowing if anybody else geeks out about the same stuff I do - you can participate in two sub polls:
1. Best Sightings-related non-Sightings album - so any album involving a Sightings member. Choose any three albums.
2. Best Sightings cover art. Pick any three.
3. Favorite Sightings member's hair. Pick only one.
Rollout will run through March, starting with the sub polls. All results will be posted - even the tracks that get just one vote.
