I'm not sure I understand the question.

The question: We polled all the Billboard Hot 100 number two hits in history in a series of polls. Each of the songs for voting finished second place in those polls to the songs in the list in my post above. Which of the songs most deserved to win it's poll?

justfanoe (Greg Fanoe), Friday, 28 February 2014 15:07 (eleven years ago)

Or just which is the best song if that hurts your head.

I'm still a little confused, but I think I'll just vote for Since U Been Gone.

What the hell, Gangnam didn't get to no 1?

It did not, it was trapped behind "One More Night" by Maroon 5 for 7 weeks. Though at the time Youtube views did not count towards the chart.

Hot Fun

I know they were briefly hot in the U.S. but I'm still a little surprised that "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" reached #2

and also not surprised, because it's my favourite PSB single

It's clear that "Don't Dream It's Over" beating out "What Have I Done to Deserve This" and "U Got the Look" is the most unjust result in any of the polls, and I lean towards PSB because Prince bounced back to win the very next poll.

...and featuring Dusty Springfield was a brilliant move

nah these three songs are insanely good and it would've taken more strategy than Metternich and Napoleon combined to choose.
