that is all...

oh, and to make this into a proper thread - favourite kids songs/songs when you were kids?

Mine are probably "Little Arrows" by Leapy Lee and "Stick Your Finger In Your Ear And Go Ting-A-Ling-A-Loo" by Benny Hill.

i liked 'uptown girl' by billy joel, the eurythmics song with the angel singing in my heart thingy, and that song that goes "hey you with the sad face come round to my place let's rev it up". and 'manic monday' by the bangles.

My parents made me a hardcore Sam Cooke fan. That, I believe, was the only high point in my musical upbringing.

I liked "Shaft" (not the Isaac Hayes song, but the instrumental) and the theme from SWAT.

I also listened to The Best of Spike Jones repeatedly.

...Reminds me a bit of Devo's EZ Listening Disc (which is easy to find in the used bins for $3) And the baby isn't going to know the difference... ...stupid baby.

I had a record with Bruce Springsteen playing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," which I loved to play at 45 rpm instead of 33. I would also wake up my parents on Saturday morning by blasting the Chipmunks theme song on my Fisher-Price tape player in their bedroom.

Ooooh..."pretty vacant" was never so...pretty....
It kinda reminds me of a tape I go out og the cut-out bins in 1992. It was called Grunge Lite and it was some chick from Seattle who made a bunch of Muzak versions of Grunge Hits. She was convinced that something like this was going to happen eventually, so she decided to head it off at the pass. Oddly enough, I have yet to hear "Touch Me, I'm Sick" over a grocery stores PA. Even a Muzak version.

They are pretty decent, even if they are amatuer sounding.

Yeah. Reminds me of the early 90s, when posting MIDIs to your BBS was a big thing.
