Guitarist Magazine in 1997 had a covermount CD entitled 'Readers Jives' featuring not just the best of the demos sent in to the magazine by readers that year, but also (quite cruelly) the worst... the funniest of which was this little gem by a combo named Turboville and entitled 'Dead Bird'. I remember laughing out loud so much at this at the time, and I'd long lost the CD, and never thought I'd hear it again. But lo and behold, it's made its way onto Youtube, so everyone can enjoy this fine piece of songwriting, performance and production in the year 2014. Enjoy!

This could work if it was redone in an early Roxy Music style.

The whole song makes me LOL, but it's the outro that really gets me!
