never heard of most of these songs, but voting "Tremor Christ" because thought it was cool at the time, and sounds nothing like any other Pearl Jam I know

The hell, "Dissident" never charted? I've heard that song like 100 times on the radio, and never heard half of these.

Over here in Europe it was a single, but not in the USA?

#3 on Mainstream Rock Tracks, whatever that is. Yeah, I've totally heard that song 100 times too.

Pearl Jam was one of those 90s bands that just had the shit played out of them on modern rock radio, singles or no. I'm fairly confident that every single song on Vitalogy except "Pry, To", "Bugs", "Satan's Bed", "Aye Davanita" and "Heyfoxylongsongtiltemamasan, That's Me" was in high rotation on our local modern rock station.

surprised Sirens only got to #4 it seems like that song is on the radio non stop. In fact I think it's the first PJ song I've heard on the radio in 15 years

Would vote for Glorified G with no question if it were on this list. Currently fluctuating between Corduroy and In Hiding but who knows. I have a lot of love for Pearl Jam.

It's interesting that, except for Daughter, the #1's are hardly their best or most well-known songs.

Pretty tough! Voted for "Daughter", with these as runners-up: "Go", "Better Man", "Who You Are", "Off He Goes", and "Last Kiss".

Oddly enough a few months back Billboard credited U2 as the sole title holder for most modern rock hits, wifh Pearl Jam's official count only being 38 (I assume that they count the studio and live versions of "Elderly Woman..." as a single chart entry)

I think Billboard was wrong then -- Pearl Jam overtook U2 with 39 tracks after "Sirens" came out. Then U2 tied them a few weeks later with that "Invisible" track/download.

Last Kiss -- #2 on the Hot 100 and the Modern Rock Tracks.

I almost voted Daughter as it was kind of my first PJ song. There are good ten or twelve songs here that U'd like to see win this

Missed this poll. Would have dithered endlessly and forgotten to vote. Kind of an "only on ILM" result string I think - bunch of kinda big-deal songs down there in the 0's. I am one of only four people who likes "Nothing As It Seems" at all, but "Jeremy" is great, overplay and self-seriousness or no, and come on, "Better Man" is fucking killer. "Given To Fly" sounds way better to me now than it did in 1998. Hell, on the right day I'd've voted for "The Fixer," which needs more ideas but has such a killer, dead-simple chorus, sounds great.

Could have sworn I voted for "Daughter", must have clicked something else by mistake. Surprised to see so many big PJ hits end up getting no votes in this poll.

Binaural has improved with age. I almost never return to Riot Act, Self-Titled, or Backspacer.
