Dear Peter,
I've got an idea for a compilation album on soul jazz: the vocoder in electronic music. I think you can compile
an interesting album with vocoder songs trough the years, from moroder,kraftwerk to superpitcher, easy lee (not to mention Laurie Anderson). As far as I know there's no album like this, yet.
I dropped this idea on the subjectivisten blog. With their contribution there's a list of great songs now.

Hi Oboema, thanks for your e-mail but I'll be honest - we're not very big fans of the vocoder here. Personally it drives me crazy but maybe you are right and that there are people out there that would want to buy it, so I wish you all the very best with your project!
