Yeah those are both good but I do think the round face boxier frames is a good rule and those are both quite round. Can you return them if you don't like them.

I got new glasses last weekend. I love them but they're not online so I can't link to them. They're from this place that designs their own frames and it's where I've gotten my last two pairs. Love these dudes and their specs so much. Should be ready by the weekend. Can't wait!

i don't think i can return them. it's more that i get one shot at this price than the money that is the concern though.

lol u do not look like a baked bean and your face isn't that round. If you really like those (and they're good so you should) then go for it. If they suck at least you didn't spead a lot and can get another pair and use these as backup.

tza: are you alone? if not - anyone with a ruler can do it! in a pinch you could even do it with a mirror and a ruler, but probably more difficult.

Hey, I was posting what I got and xposted with you asking me what I got! SYNERGY!

I love them and they look just like a pair from Zenni that I almost ordered but didn't because they only came in pink or orange tiger striped and I wanted black. But I'm a little nervous about them now, though, because even though the bridge and lens width measurements are OTM for me (and the same as the ones from Zenni), the listed frame width is really small. Like, way too small to be size-classified as "large" frames, so I don't know if it's a typo or what. This is what I get for trying to take advantage of a free glasses sale at work when I can only access commercial websites for ten minute increments.

Also, I didn't notice all the math symbols on them (thank god they're subtle) which is a bit too cute for me, especially since I'm a god damn lawyer with a lit degree.

fun! hope they work out! the genius of this sale is you're only out shipping if they're ridic.

I'm looking again and according to the measurements, the temple length is longer than the frames are wide, which is highly unlikely, so maybe they just switched the numbers.

Well, shipping and lens coating. I am astigmatic so I always get anti-glare coating because it helps cut down on the annoying halos around lights.

I went to a cool shop today and tried on some circular ones like the tortoiseshell ones caek posted, they were pretty good but I dunno if they're too ~trendy~

They are glasses so even if they are too trendy you can get a other pair in a year or two.

i think lensway uk must be the same company. a lot of the website layout looks the same and when i phoned tocheck something with my free order i got put through to an american call centre.

i looked at some of those derek cardigan ones but i decided the maths symbols were a bit too xkcd for me, but that's mainly because i'm a self-loathing physicist : )

also they spotted my trick and cancelled my second order!

what you have to do is vary your name, email address and payment. i.e. I used Alexis D on one and Alex D on another, paypal for one, credit card for the other.. bwahaha. I am a jerk.

yeah i changed the names and addresses. they probably wouldn't have noticed if i hadn't called and asked to change the PD on two orders! they were like "nice try buddy". they are really cheap anyway (£29) so i may get a second pair if the fit/scrip is ok.

i had to change the PD because when i printed out that PDF of a relfected ruler for self-measuring in the mirror, i had scale set to 90% in the print dialog!

LOL! yeah that could've done it. tbh I haven't received my third(!) pair yet. first time I only got one then a coworker told me about this trick, so next time it came up I placed orders #2 & #3. They might've cancelled mine too, but didn't email me or anything to tell me?
