so i just dug those two tonal court force hi's out of the closet and had them cleaned. i like them but i find them pretty hard to wear. they're actually the only high tops i own and the black ones are the only black shoes i own right now.

i've posted these before. they are my most prized sneakers and i only wear them about two or three times a year.

those look nice. classic look. yeah sometimes you just have to find something you love and stick with its. I have a lot of vans cos i go to the outlet store and do the buy one get one half off at least a few times a year (basically two pair for 50-60). I try all kinda weird color combos cos why not at that price

i wear wite vans in the summer

wear them w/o socks / wash them in the machine to remove odor and dirt / they become v soft

bball shoes i buy a new pair each season. do a bunch of research and wait for the previous year models to drop in price

white vans are timeless. love pretty much any canvas vans in the summer. always wear a sock tho.

I'm going to have to recalibrate my comfort/style level (although the thread may rightfully say I have terrible style to begin with). I was looking at a couple weeks of carrying a large backpack through the city, doing a ton of walking and dancing, and decided to buy some absolutely boring-ass Nike Frees and I now I know why people who do little more than use a standing desk are in lightweight running shoes all the time.

At no point did my back hurt! I'm not getting old, I just need comfortable shoes with support. OK, maybe I'm getting old

I'm old and switching to Hokas made my PF go away. So, I bought a pair of black Transports for when I'm not running.

Sometimes I find myself thinking a pair of ONs looks really nice and then I feel slightly embarrassed to think so. IDK why, it's kind of the same way I feel about Volvo SUVs, they look nice but there's a slight UMC slime to them.

Top ones have all the waterproofing etc which is genuinely fairly useful given I won't bother to wear actual boots apart from here and there.

top ones are nice in the trail running/hiking zone, shoes like that do tend to have stiff soles and are generally more structured idk if those do tho maybe something worth considering if you care about that sort of thing

It still looks a bit like the boost sole but prob is a bit tougher alright. Assuming the NB will be like walking on a cloud with that chunky sole.

The big sole hoka style just looks so ugly to me, I’m out of step with the world

Those black ones look like Nike Monarch's that I bought twice over four years and wore out during pandemic walks. I would have bought them a third time, but Nike discontinued them.
