tbrr this is the first pair of str8 fire kix i've seen here since august

u can buy those shits at j crew going on 4 years now. not SB's but very similar

yeah the nike "killshot" iirc. almost as basic as the yeezy boost

yeah. and it's a classic, great look, but definitely getting a little saturated/played at this point

basic is not being able to tell the difference between those and killshots

the white with blue color felt a little too summery for this time of year to me.

not obvious from the description, but only the top inch or so of the tongue on the SBs moves freely and the rest forms a kind of sleeve, so they go on a little bit like slip-ons despite having normal laces.

tbc jordans are classic, I don't really mean I don't like them, just don't get excited about them

I've never owned J's, but imo the Jordan IV, especially in black, is probably the best looking shoe ever

Also, I bought '91 infrared jordans in '91, the first "expensive" sneakers I ever convinced my parents to buy. The next day in gym class we did dunks off a chair--I missed, landed bad and hurt my ankle and was mercilessly clowned for doing it in my brand new Jordans. This remains a sore spot for me.

The only true Jordan design in my book is the first. Other ones should be called the Bobo, the Krusty, the Pennywise, etc

the four is most iconic but the 6-7-8s were at their peak during my prime vulnerability to nike advertising

the 11 to an extent also -- that one was kind of a comeback

i can appreesh them as objects but wldnt dream of wearing huge hightops, much prefer the 3/4 or low profile

i could see wearing 7s out of nostalgia but mostly i think being 'into' jordans in 2018 is pretty much a historical exercise

i wld wear 4s if someone wld sell them to me for $60-$75

The 11-13s were the best run for my money
