This has been going on for a while but I still can’t deal

My fave “dressy” outfit in 1993 was a pair of wide leg burgundy velvet pants paired with a black scoop-neck-and-back bodysuit. I wore this under my grad robe. With a vintage chain-belt I found somewhere or my bf’s mom gave me? The shoes were pointy. Why must the past dress up as a 25 year old and drink tea in front of me at a show?

i like some of the 90s look (got another pair of combat boots last month which i love).. but velvet & bodysuits are def in the category of, I wore it the first time around but not now

I am looking online for pictures of a certain style of jewellery that was popular in the mid 90s. (or perhaps only in my local chain accessory shop?) I can't find any pictures or think of the best search terms to find it.
Dangly earrings or pendant necklaces, that were in oversized/irregular/abstract flower, star or heart shapes (etc), that were kind of 'chunky' but thin, and most importantly, were kind of like matt chalky paint. I think I had some in pale purple or pale blue.
Anyone recognise what I'm talking about?

Kinder I was at a mall recently and commenting on the same thing. I've never seen so many crop tops in my life!

I work with a lot of mid-20 somethings and they dress exactly like I did in the late 90s. So funny. I'm not totally ignoring all this though. I may have bought a pair of DMs a few weeks ago and I'm loving them so much.

I still have my old DMs, they were really painful to wear but I could never admit it as they were so expensive. They had this edging around the top which some others don't have.

I think I found those earrings too

Oh, that sucks. I always (and still apparently) found them painful to wear at first but so comfortable once broken in. Oh? Let's see!
