Apparently heat fucks your hair up

Last night I was drunk and went to light a cigarette on my stove's burner, and I hear this sizzling ... and the horrible smell of burning hair. I run to the mirror, and my bangs got all scorched up. :< (aka, fringes for you ASLers (American as a Second Language)).

So here's a ILS conundrum: burned up hair, C/D S/D?
