khakis: c/d

I had a long-standing policy of dislike toward wearing them, until I bought this pair for my job. They are cut nice & are made of nice fabric (tho dry clean only ;_;). But any other pair I've tried, I feel like a drive-in movie screen.

They can be done well but are a bit over-ubiquitous. Same reason I am ambivalent towards jeans.

haha that does seem weird

i have one pair of pants that are khaki coloured but not actually khakis, i don't think. more like stretchy jean-pants (they are gap). i totally forgot about them and now i am reminded! but they have more than one permanent bike grease mark on cuffs & lower legs
khakis are very not-me, tho i have tried

I don't get it either! They're 97% cotton and 3% spandex. I should just do a cold/gentle wash bcz they are getting kind of smudgy. They are v sharp looking tho! tapered leg & they fit well & are comfier than they should be for how they look.

oh yeah you could totally do a cold & gentle wash but hang to dry! otherwise they are over

dudes yeahs. I have done that successfully with DCO pants before but none of the DCO skirts have ever been washed. Just Febreeze, which I hope and pray actually works bcz I can't tell as I have no sense of smell.

I line dry everything BECAUSE I don't have a dryer. But towels dry out in the sun here faster than they would in a dryer, anyway. It's pretty nice.
