Hayden Harnett is so weird about how they put random stuff on sale and then take it off sale and then on sale for a higher price and nothing ever ever leaves the website (clothing wise).

I discovered that since I am on their email list, if i use the link in the email some stuff is on sale, if i don't, it's not.

but yeah I wouldn't have bought the bag if it were $360 or whatever. not that i should've bought it even on major sale.. oh well

daria I bet the bag will look amazing! I have a bag from there and the quality is really great. Nice touches like beautiful lining fabric and fixtures. I need to get is cleaned or something though because its soft suede and been caught in the rain or had beer spilled on it too many times.

macy's at herald square may be insanely crowded, kind of dirty, and chaotically stocked, but you can't beat a 65% off sale. i got $300+ worth of stuff for $110, including a silk-lined jacket from french connection which i'd been stalking.

like it had this hanging metal HH tag on the other side (which also has buckles on the straps), I had to take that off.. I like the look of the bag but at the same time, feel uncomfortable that it looks a bit like it wants to be status-y.. I was quite happy carrying around a $4 tote from old navy last summer because I liked the pattern and colors.

It doesn't sound like you're really enjoying it, in which case prob not worth the money...? I don't personally think it's excessively show-offy and I usually have sort of a low threshold for bags with THINGS on them, logos and initialed things, but I like the print of that fabric so much I'm probably being swayed.
