cotton windbreaker type jacket

i want a cotton windbreaker type jacket but i don't want to look like my dad playing golf. something slim and dark preferably.

for the first 18 years of my life i lived in miami and never had to worry about anything heavier than a hoodie but now that i have to deal with real winters im usually pretty lost in terms of what to wear and what looks good
