sometimes a shitty photo will make me feel ugly for weeks :(

also, this was discovered 100% by chance. the japanese magazine also had pictures of ian's work and they sent a copy of the magazine to the store. so everyone should watch out because japanese people could be taking candid ugly shots of you and publishing them in magazines and you might never even know!!!!!!

yeah i have no idea when the picture was taken but it was probably some duck salad and some kind of noodles and me going to town, as it is practically ever week that our friend bartends there (we have a thai food for free drinks arrangement)

omg linds you are sooo not ugly and there are a milllion terrible photos of everyone for every beautiful photo srsly. interestingly, all the regular film photos of me throughout my life are pretty decent (tho there are a few duds for sure), whereas there are many many digital photos that are wtf nooo. which could mean many things but i am going to say it is mostly b/c of an increase in sheer numbers

it is a weird photo but you def don't look bad - blurry & unrecognizable, yes, but bad, no! i love the way ian is sitting, pretty much unmistakably ian - i don't think it looks odd, just an odd angle. laurel's ponytail pretty much rules this photo tho - it is like the most perfect ponytail i have ever seen.

Yeah, it's just a blurry shot, but blurry in a nice ambient way, not a horrific grainy way, and your arm looks blurred not fat.

I think laurel's ponytail is perfect too! I have never quite figured out ponytails on myself either and the are always lumpy.

You guys I have really straight hair, that might be why.

This is only tagentally related to BL's first post but walking down the Bahnhof Strasse in Surich a couple of days ago some people (possibly swiss/german/austrian tourists) stopped me and asked to take a photo, presumably because of my hair and beard (clothing was birkenstocks, exceedingly tatty jeans, that date from when I was 21 and remarkably due to diet fit again, and a uniqlo t-shirt with a keith jarret album cover on).

This is not the first time this has happened so I presume their must be some pretty unflattering photos of me out there, a prize to anyone who can find one.

i had a good one for this but i deleted it off my camera. i somehow managed to have a muffin top while wearing a dress.
