I think they kind of lose their appeal if you have to do a lot of walking around carrying one. but if you take cabs and/or just have a short walk to work, then could be cool.

i suppose it all depends on what style you're going for? and, yes, how much you plan on putting in it and how much you walk around, because hanging on to the handle of traditional briefcase for too long is ow for whole body.

not much. some papers, pens, phone, oddities. wallet.
just got a jack spade twill case in gray with leather handles and detail that i really like for 130. i might stick with it.
