I just bought a blackish wool APC blazer from last year's winter collection. It originally went for $500, but I saw it for $100 and couldn't resist. Unfortunately, now that I'm a law student again, how do you wear something like that?
If I were still working at Tamaribuchi Electric I'd probably wear a tailored dress shirt and tie with dress slacks and Oxfords, but how do you work a blazer like this in a more casual way? It's fitted in that APC Euro way, but I'm a smallish "Euro guy" (as people have described me, a polite American way of saying 'u look like homo'). Any suggestions?

That's a really useful looking piece. Wear it with dark jeans and band t-shirts for the next 15+ years. Or with slacks and button downs same as Surmounter said. Or on your many DATES that you are going to have once the law school Chixors start throwing themselves at you.

where's a good place to get some good dark blue jeans, with say, a hem of 7.5-8 inches? not super skinny, but not baggy or bootcutty, either. All these jeans I see now have that weird raw selvage denim look, which I definitely don't like.... it's like these manufacturers have given into denim fanboys and left sensible people out in the lurch. Apologies to raw selvage denim fans.
