I was reading a book in which a guy asked, "is this shirt out of season?" What does that mean? It was fall in the book, so does that mean that a pastel color would be inappropriate?
Are seasonal colors excessively fussy? I wear brown and dark green in the summer - is this so wrong?

My old roommate in college during spring would always wear this shirt with this "leaves in fall" motif. not only was the shirt stupid in itself, but it was obviously a very fall shirt being worn during spring. But I doubt people are that stupid.

i like picking colors according to what the day/night looks like. like in the winter when it's really really gray out, i love BRIGHT colors for contrast. ::shrugs::

It seems to me that falls colors look especially great in the fall and just great the rest of the year. In spring it is nice to celebrate the season with some bright colors. But as far as a shirt looking "out of season," I don't really get it.

I'd have more to say about those socks if I hadn't promised Abbot that I'd stop using the word "retarded."

It reminds me of the time in jr high I thought it would be cool to staple the hems of my gym shorts a whole bunch. Probably feels just as good against the skin.
