I'm glad that this show is still on though. You can really identify lame assholes in this country, simply if they are Simpsons fans.

But why are the main charcters; Homer, Bart, Lisa, Patty & Selma, Ned & Maud Flanders.
All knock offs of; Al, 1st season Bud, Older Bud, Peg, Steve & Marcy Rhodes.
Married Children does'nt have so many assholes saying how great BRILLIANT?? it is (But it was in it's own way). And funnier, and more creative. And more ORIGINAL!

...Sorry I can't continue. I had a clever wet fart once that I called "The Simpsons." Those liberal democrats are such smart people, and such individual thinkers. AND HAVE BROUGHT THIS COUNTRY INTO SUCH GREAT SHAPE...HA HA HA. Sorry I can't continue.

If you wanna really check out old Big hipped dyed haired, Hilly Billy bastard's ecomonics were; check out his record as governor of Arkansas. A sleazy scumbag, a BAD bullshitter, and bad statesman.
But you can fool some of the people, some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

So the Simpsons... I seriously can not bring myself to even watch a half hour. I serioulsy though there was something wrong with ME cause I didn't like it and everyone else did, then I saw the light. There should be supportgroups for people like us!Jon Lovitz has got to be the acting world's biggest mistake ever.

Satire— “A literary work in which human vice or folly is attacked through irony, derision, or wit.” (from Dictionary.com)
...check out his record as governor of Arkansas.
Mr. Hertz, I beseech you to elucidate. As you have previously stated in another thread, we are an “untellectual” group. I am sure that in your learnèd ways, you have compiled a vast database of examples and materials for the purpose of educating the feeble-minded.

I thought his fifteen minutes would never end.
I think you were on the right track here, but not because everyone else liked it, but because it's FUNNY.
I think MWC made me laugh out loud maybe once during its entire run. I usually laugh more than once per Simpsons episode. MWC humor is one-dimensional and adolescent.

Don't hate The Simpsons just because you don't understand the humor.

I laugh at some of the shit on South Park, but I think overall the Simpsons is a higher quality show.

MWC humor is one-dimensional and adolescent.
That's what I said lady, not that it wasn't funny. See, I said that it had humor--which I don't enjoy as much as the Simpsons or many other shows--whereas you said the Simpsons had no humor. See the difference, or was my wording blah blah

I've seen the Simpsons, and I still watch it some to try an find any episode that is funny at all. It's just as tastless as any MWC episode, and if you watch a MWC episode then a Simpsons one aired about 2 years later you will see many similarities.
I see they are TRYING to make a satire. And shitting.
South Park is much more well done, my freinds.

Nope, it's implying that they like humor that's adolescent and one-dimensional. That does not mean that they ONLY like that type of humor or that they themselves are childish or one-dimensional

p.s. notice how Bart doesn't say "Ay Carumba" or "Don't Have a Cow Man" anymore. Homer doesn't even say "mmmm, donuts". He only seems to go "mmmmm" for weirder things now, like "mmmmm...recirculated air" or "mmmm...urinal fresh"
