speed demon and dirty diana and smooth criminal are fucking excellent songs. thriller is one of my favourite albums ever. "give in to me" was kinda repetitive but slash looked quite lovely in the video. stranger in moscow sends shivers up and down my spine and always has. hey and remember the disco years, when he was really beautiful?

I agree, but I separate him (the way his now) from his best music. then I can still him.

rainy (rainy), Saturday, 26 April 2003 03:34 (twenty-two years ago)

then I can still HATE him obv.

The older I get, the sadder I am about what he has become...even up to Dangerous he had his moments. The irony of Black Or White was wasted on 12-year-old me, but Remember The Time is still pretty good, to name but one.

two weeks pass...
Oooh...at the risk of dating myself, I remember when "Man in the Mirror" was new, and really really ironic.

i cant say that i like michael jackson's music, but i think that people really need to give the poor guy a break ... i mean really... i'ts got to be hard being born a poor white boy and having to grow up to be a rich white woman...

Oh ho ho! Aren't you witty and clever? I don't think we have to necessarily agree with Mike J.'s decisions in life or even appreciate what he is now (God only knows I don't )...but that doesn't mean he wasn't one of the greatest music revolutionarys in the 20th century. The 80's would've been way different w/o him. Thriller is, by far, one of the greatest music videos ever.

I don't hate MJ, but I can say that after seeing Moonwalker I felt quite disturbed and now don't think I'll be playing the Moonwalker sega game for at least a few weeks.

I just wish he'd cut all the bullshit and come out of the closet, it's the year 2003, so it's really about time. By pretending to be married, having artificially inseminated kids and pretending to be heterosexual, he's making himself a laughing stock - he'd gain far more respect if he was honest for once.

Musically, he's done nothing of any note since Thriller, so I can hardly say he's relevant any more.

And anyone who still wears white socks (WHITE socks?!?!?!) and loafers in this day and age must be deranged.

I hope he's innocent, because I saw the video for "Rock With You" the other day, and once upon a time, MJ rocked.

Schwingung (Damian), Tuesday, 2 December 2003 09:35 (twenty-two years ago)

I would like to mention Missy Elliot's MJ vocalisation after her line about him on "Pass the Dutch", it's great!
Other examples of people doing good MJ "HI-HIIIIIIIIIIIIIII"s (and what is the correct terminology?). I like high voices
