look - i had a stalker last year. i also had a band of right-wing nutjobs following me around because i exposed one of them making threats to abortion clinics on a mailing list. anyway, yadda yadda. you don't want to hear about it.
one of these right-wingers used to follow me from board to board and it eventually took its toll and made me act in paranoid, distrustful ways. i lashed out at people because i didn't trust them. also an acquaintance of many of the people on the board treated me rather badly (in private), but because i am a no one, i will end up looking like the crazy one if i ever said anything about it. it was never my intention to chuck my dignity by making our relationship public anyway.
i apologized to the people i hurt, and they ought to realize this, but apparently some of them are nursing a grudge and talking about me behind my back when they help make a certain place a little less toxic by simply talking directly to me.
which is really childish and cowardly. i am a human being. i go out of my way to not advertise what is genuinely good about me because it has been taken advantage of in the past, and because i am a modest person. so stop assuming the worst about people you don't know simply because it massages your own ego to sit around thinking that there are people out there worse than yourself.
i am not mentally unstable. i am, financially or emotionally, supporting three unhealthy people. you have no idea what kind of strength that takes. i simply don't campaign for trophies in public.
