I hate cab drivers who have sports talk radio on instead of playing exotic music

I don't want to hear all these morons going on about the batting averages and injuries of famous people whose names I don't recognize. Taxi drivers should play music, preferably Sikh devotional music, whether they are Sikhs or not.

On the one hand yes, that'd be fun, on the other no it's THEY who must drive around all day, I guess they can listen to whatever they like. It's a great pity if their taste runs to SPORTS, though. Unless it's cricket.

i've had some great taxi drivers. me and anton once rode in a taxi whose driver used to be in the Quincy Conserve. and recently i had a driver who saw the rolling stones and t rex play in oxford in the late 60s.
