however by saying this and criticising others i consider to be elitist and saying how things should/n't be i am creating my own elitiest group and there's no way of getting out of the cycle, only to live with nobheads and wankers and say nothing to divide you from them? it made more sense in my head i think.

An elitist is someone who counts themselves or counts their group as the best and right reguardless of the reality of them not being. For example...for someone to say that their style of music is the best and everyone else's is wrong, that would be an elitist attitude.

i hate metal full stop, it's crap, especially when mixed with rap:] nu-metal is just pop disguised, slipknot and korn are just manufactured gimmicks for children to think they are hard little moshers and know about music, when it has the opposite effect apart from pathetic little moshers rwalking abou with the chains and slipknot hoodies and occasional skateboard, the same goes for sum41 and linkin park, they're not real bands, they're appauling.
