so fucking full of themselves, well, when they were, typical "hard bastard long-pussy-hair" band, "let's get a perm, and mouth off to/about other bands, that'll make us respected and loved 'cause we're hard" fair enough slash is an amazing guitarist, but he's a wanker, and as for axel rose, need i say more. complete set of twats. thank you please.

appetite for destruction is fantastic. "its so easy" might be one of the rockingest pieces of music in history. axl rose is a bit of a dick, slash was strangely... hot. especially in the video for "give in to me" by michael jackson. i have no interest in them after AFD.

― The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Sunday, 20 July 2003 19:35 (twenty-three years ago)

Hi Axel! Hi Axel!! Where's Axel? Hi Axel!!! Hi Axel!!!!!

Sorry, the not-yet-out-there ghost of Dave Grohl took over my fingers.
Yeah, I've never been a big fan of Axel Rose, but I've never been down on G'N'R... I've had my fun times listening to them.

But I do wish Buckethead would break away from the group for a while and go on tour with Les Claypool for a bit.

― The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Sunday, 20 July 2003 19:46 (twenty-three years ago)

Idiots.

― Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Monday, 21 July 2003 01:19 (twenty-three years ago)

guns n'roses were the most fantastic rawk band of the eighties. at their best they were better than zeppelin, aerosmith, kiss or any other metal band you'd care to name. the video for "welcome to the jungle" was possibly my favorite video ever and axl rose is one of the five greatest stage performers in rock history. right up there with elvis, lydon, prince, and (this one's for you lady lurex) bolan.

later g'n'r: well, i can't stand "november rain," but i'll listen up thru "g'n'r lies," just for "used to love her" and "one in a million."

― Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Monday, 21 July 2003 07:05 (twenty-three years ago)

not better than zeppelin. and i just hate them, and love it how nirvana wound them up, or just wound axel rose up at the '92 mtv awards, hoho!

― jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Monday, 21 July 2003 10:20 (twenty-three years ago)

DUDE! Zep beat G'n'R to the kitschy pulp they most certainly are!

― Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 21 July 2003 10:30 (twenty-three years ago)

nirvana's anti-pop snobbery = worst thing abt them. kurt cobain made a catchy pop-metal album then complained that his fans listened to metal instead of the raincoats. lighten up already!

funny thing abt kurt's axl-disdain is that they had so much in common!

― Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:03 (twenty-three years ago)

but when did you see elvis, lydon, prince and bolan peform!

― Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:10 (twenty-three years ago)

I actually do like Guns 'n' Roses, though. But Led Zeppelin beat them up, ask Carrie Brownstein

― Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:16 (twenty-three years ago)

Nirvana's anti-pop snobbery... please. Nirvana gave Axel Rose a hard time because they were joking around before the Music Awards and Cobain asked Axel Rose if he could have his baby. Instead of just laughing or saying something sarcastic, Axel Rose goes over like a neanderthal man and starts poking Cobain in the chest threatening to kick his ass.
Tell me how Axel and Cobain are alike again? I think Axel enjoys the life that fame brought him while all Kurt wanted was enough money to by more intoxicants and vinyl records. And I think the biggest beef Kurt ever has with his fans is that when "Smells Like Teen Spirit" became huge, he suddenly had a fan base of the same kind of jock metalheads that used to call him a faggot in high school and beat the shit out of him.

― The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Monday, 21 July 2003 14:10 (twenty-three years ago)

...if axel would be the godfather of kurt's baby;] and yeah cobain is well over rose in every good term. dammit.

― jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Guns n Roses suck my ballsack hard....................................

― Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 20:23 (twenty-three years ago)

i'm glad i know fuck all about the personas of most rockstars. guns n roses are a glam band, its a pretty short step from "get it on (bang a gong)" to "its so easy". yeah.

― The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 21:36 (twenty-three years ago)

What is wrong with being arrogant asshole and and talking shit about other bands? Femme Entity has made it a mission to destroy all other shitty imitators that get in their way and take the world by hostage, personally.I find my six girls to be the living embodiment of female angst and rebellion, which is good for a band of all female urban gang bangin psychopaths from hell (my personal design). As for you Jon, get over yourself, no one gives a shit about how much you hate a band of the past, so just stick to jacking off to transvestiites, because no one should have to endure you and your sad and pathetic attempts to sound like you have a legitimate argument over a band that most of the majority of americans have forgotten about.Sorry "Homo-than Gay-ttins"

― Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 04:48 (twenty-three years ago)

I meant transvestites, but you get it.................................

― Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 05:44 (twenty-three years ago)

― jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Monday, 28 July 2003 13:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Adrian, I'm really amused that you are repulsed by vaginas. I'm sad I won't be there to see you come out of the closet. You are such a repressed homosexual. Go to Gay pride in SF next year, it's better than Mardi Gras!! One big partay!!

― Lola Falana, Tuesday, 29 July 2003 20:26 (twenty-three years ago)

I dont hate cunt, I just hate ones that stink thats all.Anyway, you sill havent told me about how vaginas taste? Why is that? I gueas you must not really get any.I promise I will stop calling you names if you tell me! I swear it!

― Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 05:33 (twenty-three years ago)

You truly are a pathetic individual. Here's an idea: If you want to know what vagina tastes like, go down on a girl!! ...but since I don't see that opportunity presenting itself for you anytime soon, I would say sneak into your mom's laundry and go to town...or am I too late for that suggestion?

― Lola Falana, Wednesday, 30 July 2003 06:18 (twenty-three years ago)

haha!!!! that's why he reckon's they all stink!!!!!!!!!!

― jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 12:11 (twenty-three years ago)

Lola, I love you.

― Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 21:43 (twenty-three years ago)

It's only natural Adrian. Try to control yourself.

― Lola Falana, Wednesday, 30 July 2003 22:12 (twenty-three years ago)

I jack off when I think of your Mexican lips all over my cock like bees on honey. You suck my dick like a true pro, and I thank you very much for that.I have never came so much until I met you.I hope you give me better blow next time, "Lo-cunt"..............................

― Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Thursday, 31 July 2003 01:57 (twenty-three years ago)

SO HOW 'BOUT THEM GUNS AND ROSES.....

― The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Thursday, 31 July 2003 02:41 (twenty-three years ago)

Guys, I have something to admit to you... I really love men...a lot... that's why I use Lola to try to cover up all of my desires. If my dad ever found out that I wanted another man besides him, he's go into a jealous psychotic rage. Please...humor me and let me go on thinking you believe I like girls even though there isn't anything in the world I love more than a big cock in my fat mouth.

― ~Adrian McCoy, Thursday, 31 July 2003 05:19 (twenty-three years ago)

YEAH AS I'VE SAID BEFORE IN A MIGHTY GOLLOUS, I DILIKE THEM SOMEWHAT OF A MALENKY BIT.

nine years pass...

https://youtu.be/62hTMuE91AM

I've been watching a lot footage and interviews from the 80s and now have moved into the 90s when they resurfaced from the studio and played live for the first time since appetite. They're at the top of their game. Axl hitting the notes and slash focused and sounding great.
