A warped record is one of my least favourite things to see. Truly a horrible sight.
Dear Troubleman - fuck you.

A very interesting update. I have discovered that collector's corner in Melbourne has a German un-warping machine that can flatten records and works really well. They will unwarp for $5AUD a record which is pretty good really. If that record label doesn't do anything about it, I shall try this probably.

Records eh, aren't they trouble.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 6 August 2003 23:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Also this is good because Collector's Corner won't charge you if they can't unwarp it.

My copy of Dead Kennedy's Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables is warped, and that pisses me off deeply. GRRRRRRRR

I'm not fond of scratched records either. I have Walter Carlos' The Well-Tempered Synthesizer and it skips like a stuttering bitch. DAMN IT!

I've never heard of a record being saved from warpage, this is a great thought

(Dumb standard 'idiots' remark I'm not in the mood for)

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Thursday, 7 August 2003 02:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Yep this machine is meant to work really well, and the warps he described that it works well on it are exactly the type we have.

I phoned them in Australia!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 7 August 2003 04:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Saturday, 9 August 2003 00:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh my GOD. Ok maybe TU records are actually a fantastic organisation, going by the email I just got from Elisabeth. Sorry for all the hassling.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 09:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah I mean you can probably understand TU, the order was really a whole lot of trouble and we were very annoyed.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 10:00 (twenty-two years ago)

It was pretty much the worst order in HISTORY, after all.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:41 (twenty-two years ago)

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Thursday, 16 October 2003 07:49 (twenty-two years ago)

BEER FRAME! Is that the zine where some guy reviewed ordinary stuff (like food and so on)? If it is I REALLY liked it, I wish I'd actualy bought some. It's cool to see someone bring it up!
