I want a place of my own to decorate it as I please. That, to me, is the most exciting. There will be a lot of beige, burgundy, and vanGogh everywhere....oooh and candles. As for as being alone while ppl are gone...yeah I give it a 10. Nothing beats naked time.

Parents are NOT pussies. I give them hella credit for having enough self control to fight the urge of launching their unappreciative little bastards through an 8 story window. Kids are terrible. Guys, honestly...(I'm speaking to the 20 year old + bracket here)... we were NOT this bad and this spoiled at their age now. These little kids are so smartmouthed and bossy and desnsitized IT'S SICKENING. Kids are growing up way too fast. They need to be smacked more and let out of the house less often.

Some are annoying actually, this one kid arrogantly claimed she could solve my rubik's cube and nearly messed it up. Then called me STUPID and said it was a baby toy or something. I should've messed it up to prove she couldn't solve it.

I have five nephews and a niece (my oldest is 16 and youngest is a year) that listen to me quite attentively when I tell them to do things, and yes I do see them on a pretty regular basis. I've never hit any of them as discipline (I have smacked my oldest nephew after he hits me, in fun of course), nor do I boss them around. They give me better attention then they do to their parents quite often. Why? Because I constantly pay attention to them. I watch what they do, and I can understand why they are doing it... I feel like I've retained enough of my childish side to understand how kids work, I give them honest praise when they do something decent. And it simply boils down to they just do not want to see how I behave when I'm disappointed... not that I scream or blow up, it's just that those kids can read me as well as I can read them, and they simply like me better as an Uncle when I can appreciate and enjoy them, and not feel like their presence is draining or taxing me. But I do have it easy, I don't have to deal with these children 24 hours a day. When I'm taking care of them, it's like a focused event... I don't have to plan my life around them. Being a full-time parent is tough as hell and quite wearing on the nerves... but that doesn't mean you have an excuse to forget what it's all about. So I don't have much of a hard time when I do watch kids. But I think being quite tall helps out as well.
