i give bananas, maple syrup and cream 8/10. simple but effective.

10s: eclairs, canolis, fried ice cream, bananas foster, banana bread pudding with banana fudge gelato from this one Italian place, the Hershey thingee from Grady's (Hershey bars are melted and drizzled over a warm very chocolatey cake and vanila ice cream--yes, Hershey sucks and it would be better with good chocolate but it's still really damn tasty)

Desserts: A thick chocolate malt, a banana split, lemon merangue pie, cheesecake with cherries and a graham cracker crust...

A topper.....I went to Europe twice on vacation and had read about a Viennese dessert, Sacher Torte....a chocolate confection with a layer of jam....it was so good, I shipped a few home. As I recall, Damel's was in competion with the originator, the Hotel Sacher and, at the time, Damel's was winning....
