Whey-to-Go!

So me and Elisabeth were in the supermarket once and we saw this whey drink stuff, and it seemed a little gross, but then I felt all sorry for this struggling company w/its odd product and cute animal mascot type pictures on the box and wanted to try it, and I did today, and it's really really nice! But does drinking whey seem odd to anyone else? NZ mostly throws it away in our mad quest for yet more MILK.

It really is a strange thing to try and market. You didn't buy the whey, did anyone explain the attraction? I want to try it real bad now! Whey to go!
I'm typing terribly.

I think Mum was just pretty into it, the weirdo. The person at the counter asked if they were charging too much, it's $3 a litre, I think.

Pretty expensive I guess. It's cool she noticed it too, I must say.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 26 September 2003 12:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah she's cool

It seems we forgot to get any of this stuff, so I can't report back on it.

I'm drinking a litre of forest berry NOW, it's fucking delicious! AND it contains the highest known concentration of branched chain amino acids, rock.

Branched-chain amino acids are sooo-overrated, man am I sick of you hipster types going on about that shit! Why don't you try thinking for yourselves for once?

Minty (Minty), Tuesday, 13 January 2004 11:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Why don't you go fuck yrself

Silly Sailor (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 13 January 2004 11:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Ha! Hit a nerve, did I? Ya bandwagon-hopping branched-chain-amino-acid-fondling pantywaist!

Minty (Minty), Tuesday, 13 January 2004 11:32 (twenty-one years ago)

I've nearly finished it, maybe I'll HAVE ANOTHER ONE!

Silly Sailor (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 13 January 2004 12:23 (twenty-one years ago)

i was into branched-chain-amino-acids when you poseur kids were still grooving omega3 fatty acids, maaaaan.

also: NZ mostly throws it away

fermented milk-whey is used in the making of a variety of tasty and nutritious half-strength Generic Alcoholic Beverages.

beer?
In the 1980s I was awarded a bronze medal for my balletic portrayal of Little Miss Tuffet, in which I wore a bonnet, did a lop-sided rolypoly, forgot what I was doing at least once and paused and giggled and had at least one of my front teeth missing, and kicked my shoe into a stagefront light which blew it out.
