After living in Chicago for 25 years, I've come to the conclusion that I don't mind hot weather as much as cold. When it's hot here though, it's always humid as well. I prefer a 100 degree (38C) in Phoenix to a 90 degree (32C) here. And at this point, I'd rather deal with 3 or 4 months of 40C (well over 100F) weather in Phoenix, than 3 or 4 months of -7C (20F) weather in Chicago.

Is it humid in Melbourne? It's right on the ocean so I imagine it can be.

gah, i like nice cold days so i can wrap up:) and there's snow too!!:D i like it around -10 to about 14ish maybe 0_o or that temperature where it's comfortable to walk around outside with like a longsleeved top and trousers:)

I can't stand them! It'll be getting up to around 30 or so in Auckland soon enough, it always does it just in time to coincide w/the great Grey Lynn festival. Fuck you, sun. I like Spring/Autumn, it's nice to be able to wear a jacket.

Damn you, snow!

Kent Brockman (Damian), Monday, 17 November 2003 11:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Up yours, rain!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 17 November 2003 11:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I am looking forward to T-shirt weather (the phenomenon itself, and not anything to do with the Lucksmiths. I put Tugboat on the last mixtape I made though.)

Schwingung (Damian), Monday, 17 November 2003 11:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, who is to say it is not already T-shirt weather here, I suppose? I still find that the weather necessitates the wearing of cardigans.

Schwingung (Damian), Monday, 17 November 2003 11:37 (twenty-two years ago)

It was t-shirt weather for a while on Sunday. Mostly I just refuse to take off my jacket unless I absolutely have to.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 05:30 (twenty-two years ago)

dammit now i have lucksmiths in my head

the surface noise (electricsound), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 08:14 (twenty-two years ago)

i have a low tolerance for heat, but i live in dunedin, it never gets over 25 celcius even in "high" summer.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 08:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I hate heat because it gives me headaches, and I way prefer wearing winter clothes too. I can never dress quite appropriately for hot days.

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 09:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Hot weather is choice. I don't really like wearing more than two layers, and if it's cold outside I tend to just stay in bed. I'm much more energetic and productive in warm weather.

Minty (Minty), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 10:49 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm in favour of heat

It's about to get superhot, if the last couple of years are a guide. I am not excited at the prospect.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 4 December 2003 11:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I was stupid enough to go to the supermarket today and I nearly died on the way back up the hill. I got a sweaty back too.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 4 December 2003 11:21 (twenty-two years ago)

i love dunedin in the summertime! its magic! it's magic! i'm repetitive!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 5 December 2003 00:05 (twenty-two years ago)

i mostly like winter best esp for clothes but dunedin summer is magic not to hot or humid also i got three summer dresses today and a garden cane couch from a skip the other day and had a swim at aramoana so im feeling all summery

ducklingmonster, Friday, 5 December 2003 01:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Hot good, humid unspeakably bad. My walls are sweating and there's been a constant drizzle as the humidity hovers on 100%...and it's only december! this is bad.

petra jane (petra jane), Wednesday, 10 December 2003 10:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Hot CRAP humid WORSE, both apply right here right now I'm already really sick of it, man I'm patient. It is all part of the BEAUTIFUL CYCLE OF NATURE ANDREW

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 10 December 2003 11:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I LOVE hot weather and humid, except that it makes for more insects; it doesn't feel summery enough here yet

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Thursday, 11 December 2003 02:10 (twenty-two years ago)

It's okay weather here, sunny but not too hot. I still prefer winter though.

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 11 December 2003 02:15 (twenty-two years ago)

hot nights get -100000/10
