The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 20 November 2003 06:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Did you get accosted by one of their street people?

Minty (Minty), Thursday, 20 November 2003 07:35 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 20 November 2003 08:00 (twenty-one years ago)

i've noticed they've been using attractive young street people with big smiles. bloody manipulative so and so's

the surface noise (electricsound), Thursday, 20 November 2003 09:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I often feel like they'll think I'm lying if I say I already joined, which I DID!!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 20 November 2003 09:33 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah! i had one the other day with a really cute hat who found everything i said really hilariously witty and she even impersonated a pirate for me to the extent that i decided to join greenpeace but in the end i didn't know my own bank account number. what a great story.

ichigo pan desu (i am strawberry bread), Thursday, 20 November 2003 09:35 (twenty-one years ago)

haha its like they even KNOW what you find attractive - my street person was a REDHEAD LADY!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 20 November 2003 20:20 (twenty-one years ago)

well that's my hard-won "I am brave enough to swim in the sea again after a solid decade of staying away coz of the sharks" out the window

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Thursday, 20 November 2003 22:30 (twenty-one years ago)

When my mum was young one of her friends got killed by a shark at a beach in Dunedin.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 20 November 2003 23:38 (twenty-one years ago)

My friend once argued for an hour with one of those street people. All he was trying to do was get her to sign a petition to stop the war on terrorism.

Livvie (Livvie), Friday, 21 November 2003 01:14 (twenty-one years ago)

I need to argue and get more people to sign my left ass cheek.

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Friday, 21 November 2003 01:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Did she sign in the end? Greenpeace people don't approach me anymore - am I looking more conservative these days or something?

Minty (Minty), Friday, 21 November 2003 01:54 (twenty-one years ago)

not if the internetevidence is anything to go by (cf. manliness thread)

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Friday, 21 November 2003 01:55 (twenty-one years ago)

No, she wasn't impressed with his views on G.E. She's not my friend anymore either, tho not as a result of this incident.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Friday, 21 November 2003 03:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh btw hey man nice shark! The story that goes w/it is about as happy as it could be, if you haven't read it. They saved a cuople of her pups.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 November 2003 04:01 (twenty-one years ago)

a cuople of pups? is that like a murder of crows?

the surface noise (electricsound), Friday, 21 November 2003 04:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Don't shark pups bring to mind images of cuopling? Much like the ominous sight of a bunch of crows

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 November 2003 04:30 (twenty-one years ago)

i saw the story on the news last night. i'm glad they saved the pups, but they shouldn't have caught the mother in the first place.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 21 November 2003 05:45 (twenty-one years ago)
