Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:00 (twenty-one years ago)

So you heard me and Andrew like trees, now you know we like WATER as well.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I fuckin hate trees now

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:03 (twenty-one years ago)

But they're GREEN. And probably crunchy.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Stop it yr reminding of yummy yummy lettuce and we have none

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Another reason water is great: you use it to make TEA, that world's most delicious drink.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:11 (twenty-one years ago)

I love watermelon.

Minty (Minty), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:16 (twenty-one years ago)

That shit's off the chain, no doubt!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:17 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't like THAT either. I think I dislike watery fruits and vegetables in general.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Andrew's a watery fruit, you seem to like him ok...

Minty (Minty), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:26 (twenty-one years ago)

"Watery"?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:27 (twenty-one years ago)

1. Filled with, consisting of, or soaked with water; wet or soggy: watery soil.
2. Containing too much water; diluted: watery soup.
3. Suggestive of water, as in being thin, pale, or liquid: watery sunshine.
4. Lacking force or substance; weak or insipid: watery prose.
5. Secreting or discharging water or watery fluid, especially as a symptom of disease.
6. Accompanied by tears; tearful: a watery good-bye.

Minty (Minty), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Take your pick.

Minty (Minty), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:33 (twenty-one years ago)

I've been known to discharge watery fluids I guess

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 22 December 2003 11:34 (twenty-one years ago)

gee i miss AIM

duane, Monday, 22 December 2003 13:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Me too.

Minty (Minty), Monday, 22 December 2003 14:05 (twenty-one years ago)

water is good. i only like fancy frilly lettuces, not those bland godawful north otago vegestall types.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 22 December 2003 22:32 (twenty-one years ago)

i wish dunedin water was cleaner, then i'd probably drink it a lot more.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 22 December 2003 22:39 (twenty-one years ago)

At least it doesn't taste like swimming pool like the water at my house. Now Orewa, there's good water there.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 23 December 2003 01:03 (twenty-one years ago)

mmmm chlorine fresh. windsor, where i'm staying at the moment, has good cool clean water.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 23 December 2003 02:27 (twenty-one years ago)

my favourite waters is the ones that have the first name john.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 23 December 2003 02:48 (twenty-one years ago)

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Tuesday, 23 December 2003 03:47 (twenty-one years ago)

you guys only like water cos you don't live in tucson: we have NOTORIOUSLY AWFUL WATER.

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Tuesday, 23 December 2003 03:47 (twenty-one years ago)

I drink Dunedin water so as to be ready when I go to some hideous 3rd world place like Tucson. See I'll have an immunity and not get sick

Menelaus Darcy (Menelaus Darcy), Tuesday, 23 December 2003 09:41 (twenty-one years ago)

dude tucson must have really bad water to be worse than dunedins. ours doesn't even reach WHO standards.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 23 December 2003 10:36 (twenty-one years ago)

haha Di, when my friend Martin was living in Dunedin with his then-wife, they tried to sell the excess garden produce at a roadside stall. Every Single Bloody Person who wanted to buy a lettuce was all "what do you call those? we want normal lettuce". bunch of luddites.

petra jane (petra jane), Wednesday, 24 December 2003 01:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I remember moving to Dunedin and being really confused that I could smell dirt in the shower - it was the water!

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Wednesday, 24 December 2003 05:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh god, ewww.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 24 December 2003 08:15 (twenty-one years ago)

hey hamilton has drinkable water (just not in the river, if you're not fond of botulism/meningitis) and is CHEAP and you know you want to bloody live with me. cmon!

petra jane (petra jane), Wednesday, 24 December 2003 09:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I thought of you today Petra coz I went to 'Savemart' 2nd hand clothing store and there were lots of uniform dress pinafore thingies. I even tried on a pale blue one but I didn't get it.

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Wednesday, 24 December 2003 09:38 (twenty-one years ago)

there are 2 savemarts in hamilton, they're still pricey {like, $20 for a pair of jeans!) compared to op shops - especially the ahem, 'retro' rack, geez. they do seem to get lots of corporate leftovers tho like my A&E nursie dress.
