i've just seen PARTY GIRL, it is clearly the best film ever made by a man or a woman, one or two lame scenes aside.

Am I the only one who doesn't really love Christopher Guest's stuff? Except like SPINAL TAP which Parker Posey isn't even IN (is she?)(and he only co-wrote that not directed, does he ever direct, I don't know). I like her alright I GUESS, though she's in EVERYTHING so I dunno, I'm suspicious about whether there's much quality control involved. ACTUALLY I just decided I don't really like her at all - so she's hot, so what? And she's SUPER-INDIE, big fucking deal. She annoys me.

Haha although it's not like I've seen a whole bunch of her movies anyway. Josie and the Pussycats, Best in Show, Waiting For Guffman, Dazed and Confused pretty much. And I only like Dazed and Confused out of those 4. So I'm not v. qualified to judge, sorry Parker Posey.

if you mean alex cabot (sunglasses-wearing hipster dude with shaggy's voice), he was in the movie but not very much - that was the worst thing about it! it should have been more like the comic book. and the girl who played melody was awful, the other two were good though.
