yo andrew! had a look at the kompakt store + discogs.

for yr superpitcher 12" needs (all of these are euro 7.40, which is nz$13.25), ranked :

heroin ("heroin"/"tomorrow"/"don't think too much")
speicher 6 (Quarks - "I Walk (Superpitcher Schaffel Mix)"/ "Fieber")
yesterday ("more heroin"/"more tomorrow"/"time to cry")

other good speichers = 7 ("unter null"/"bring it back", it's the one I've got), 16 (mike ink/burger industries), 20 (justus kohncke/dj koze), 2 (mayer - "love is stronger than pride"/r.voigt - "supertiel"). also, yr after some mayer? "speaker"/"sneaker"; "privat"/"amabile"; the "lovefood" 12" has his cover of kylie's "slow"! speicher 14 has his "x" + the orb's "masterblaster".
justus kohncke's zwei photonen ("timecode"/"the answer is yes") is one of the best things on the label (& the version of "timecode" on his album is edited, blah).

also: outernational was produced by . . . thomas fehlmann (who is in the orb "part-time", apparently)! & bob blank! justus was part of whirlpool productions tho.

The shirts are v expensive, aren't they? I'd love one, Nick Play's is so gorgeous. "Privat" (want want)'s at Play, I think. Def want Speicher 16, "Heroin". Might leave it at that, unless you want to persuade me otherwise. What's "Mushroom" on again? Fuck I'm so worried about the cat, fuck I'm so not in the mood to have Sufjan Stevens played at me. That's cool about "Outernational", I had an Orb Cd w/TF on it, so yeah. Good for him. Jimmy Cauty was in the Orb too, in some way, I think. Briefly. You prob know more about that than I do.

"mushroom" = total 5; it's used to great effect on mayer's fabric disc. so . . . shld I make an order for the speicher 16 & heroin 12" + my t-shirt on my credit card, like, as soon as you confirm? hope I get the right size t-shirt - small'll do me, right?

two weeks pass...

hey! andrew! you wanna do this?!? I've been checking out all the labels the kompakt store distributes & checking on juno &c for stuff it doesn't. y'know how I didn't buy that metro area lp on special @ RG? it's hilariously OOP & impossible to find, as are all the metro area 12"s before #6. fuck fuck fuck, I'd really like to be able to play "proton candy" (I'm pretty sure I've played it to you, it's on a "timecode" tip) & "miura" (sort've todd edwards chopping up opera over luomo going salsoul! it was ME's big crossover!). eBay it is, I guess.
